Product Information Management (PIM): Your Tool to Expanded Selling Opportunities

As manufactures, do we truly understand the power of well-organized and accurate product data, and how best to share this data with our distributor channel partners?  HIDA recognized that our industry does not utilize a universal standard when communicating product information and developed a PIM workgroup comprised of manufacturers and distributors to help establish a better path forward.  Kendall Lemmert is leading this effort and will share the work currently being done on this very important initiative.

But our data work is not done there.  Next, we will be introduced to Clarivate, who HIDA is now contracted with as a supplier of market data for our industry.  (Previously contracted with GHX).  Louise Murphy will walk us through the services that Clarivate offers and how capturing and reviewing product data can help better chart the course of success for any business.

Data drives better decisions, and providing good product data from the start will allow for more meaningful data throughout.

FDA final guidance on UDI application for Convenience Kits
