OUR HISTORY

The Healthcare Manufacturers Management Council was founded in 1986 by William McKnight, a long-time medical products sales executive and founder of McKnight Medical Communications, to provide a forum for sales and marketing executives in the healthcare industry to exchange information. Since then, HMMC has been consistently successful in helping the next generation of executives learn, network and succeed.

Our Vision: The Healthcare Manufacturers Management Council (HMMC) aspires to be recognized by our membership and the industry as THE healthcare professional association that facilitates best practices that enables Healthcare Manufacturers to succeed.

WHO BELONGS TO HMMC?

The Healthcare Manufacturers Management Council (HMMC) is comprised of executives from member companies primarily engaged in manufacturing healthcare products and services. Our members have a strong desire to continuously improve their professional skills and willingness to share their knowledge with others.

A 13-member Board is elected by the general membership and serves three-year terms. Board Meetings are held four times a year amongst conferences and webinars. An executive director and executive administrator are responsible for day-to-day operations of HMMC.
